PRE-REQs
There are a few things that I require before I work with someone.
1) Ready to ROCK!
I work fast and am ready to move you forward. If you are not in a place to take this on, that is completely fine. When you are ready, I am ready. There is one thing i cant coach people on and that is motivation. I wont touch it. It is one of the few things that no one can coach you on or create for you. It is the x factor. I cant make an entrepreneur want to start and grow a business or stick with it when they hit a rough patch. I cant make someone want their goal bad enough that they are driven to overcome any and every obstacle no matter how tough or high high the cost. You have to find that motivation within. You have to go on this quest. You have to enter this extraordinary world no matter the cost, no matter the odds, no matter the outcome.
2) Open and Honest
Business can be messy. I know working with someone is showing them your dirty laundry. There is no judgment on my side. I have seen it all - and probably have done it myself. Being open and honest of where you are, coming up against, and where you are going will be the deference in how quickly you fly. I also want you to be open and honest about what you think about ideas. If you are not bought in that something will work, it wont. I do not take offense if you do not like an idea. We will find one that you do.
3) You Like Me and I Like You
I take your business on as if it is my own. I become invested. I think about it all the time. This is why I only take on a dozen clients at a time and like to keep around 8-10 in contract at a time. If you are receiving this than I assume this is the case for you have requested info on what it looks like to work with me and I have agreed to send this to you. I love what I do and want to play with those who I love.
I say “not now” to more clients than I say yes because either it is not a good fit or I feel they are not ready for me yet. I feel you are ready and that we can really rock your business to the next level together.
TOP QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Question: When can I call/text Rachel?
You can call Rachel anytime, 27/4 365 days a year. Now, Rachel might not always answer. And Rachel will back you as soon as she can provide you with her full attention. When Rachel goes to sleep, her phone goes on silent there for calling, or texting, at any time will not bother her. Rachel would rather you send her something when you are thinking about it than to try to wait and remember what it was when you can talk. You can also always put ideas and thoughts in Asana (the project management and communication system provided to you). It has a fantastic computer, tablet, and phone interface. In short, reach out when you need to, and if gets too much, we will have a conversation as to if you need to adjust your contracted time.
Question: Can I change my scheduled times if something comes up?
We will pre-plan all your time slots so that you have a plan. At any time, you can adjust your time slot. Rachel is used to working with family-owned businesses, and your family and business come first. She is, first and foremost, here to support you. As long as Rachel has the time open, you can move your scheduled time up or push it back to fit your needs. Rachel’s only request is that you provide her with as much heads up as possible to adjust her plans. She will always be sitting prepared by the phone waiting for a call.
Question: What happens if I go on a long vacation?
Your time is your time. If you are gone on an extended holiday, or life happens, and you need some personal time, we will either push your time earlier in the month or bank it for a later month. On some occasions, you might ask us to implement or create something during that time instead. Your time is like energy, never lost, just transferred where you need it. We can also put a contract on hold for a month if we see no productive way to use the time. Everything is a discussion to make it work for you.
Question: Am I stuck in the contract time amount that I initially pick?
Hello no! Life is fluid and so are we! If you find you need less time, it is just a conversation, and we will adjust. If you need more, we will do the same. All we ask is 30 days' notice so we can plan the change accordantly. If that is not possible, it is just a conversation with Rachel to work out the right solution. If you are on a Ramp Up Program, you will adjust to the new plan's quarter price that you pick relative to where you are currently. Ramp Up Pricing is only available the first time a relationship is engaged and does not reset or start over at any time.
Question: Can I stop at any time?
We ask for 30 days notice of any stopping of a contract. Other than that, you can stop or adjust up and down your contracted time at any time. Again, I want to be flexible and the best resource for you. If you are within a Ramp Up program, we do ask for a six-month commitment. If, for some reason, we are not getting along (which has never happened) we are not going to hold you to a time frame for our relationship is more important than a contract.
Question: When am I invoiced?
You have a choice to either have a credit card auto-ran at the start of the month or make a one month deposit and be invoiced the first of the month. If you choose the invoice, you have 30 days to pay the invoice. Most clients select auto-draft for ease. Either way, you will receive a receipt for your records.
Question: Can I pay you out of another company? And how do I classify your services?
If you need expenses to come out of one company while we build another, that is completely fine. When our accountant contacts you to set your account up, you just tell her what you would prefer. We are all for helping your taxes in any way we can. As for how you classify us, talk to your accountant or CPA. We have been put under Marketing/Promotions, Continual Education, and Admin Services. We are okay with whatever your experts say will help your books and taxes.
If you have reservations, unanswered questions, or uneasy, please let me know what is there for you. It is vital that you are comfortable and ready to be in action around that which is important to you. We know this is a commitment, and I am honored that you have trusted your business and dreams to me. I am ready to be THE difference for you!
