believe one of the most important parts of choosing someone to work with is finding a person you genuinely trust, connect with, and feel safe being yourself around. Every person communicates differently, processes differently, and needs different kinds of support depending on the season they are in.

This page is designed to give you a deeper look into both my background and who I am as a person — including parts of my journey, experience, philosophy, and personality profiles — so you can get a feel for whether my approach and energy feel aligned with what you are looking for and who you are becoming.

My Background

Two Decades of Building, Leading, and Helping Others Do the Same

For nearly two decades, I have built and led businesses through growth, transition, reinvention, and change while helping other entrepreneurs and leaders do the same. My background bridges real-world entrepreneurial experience with executive education, emotional intelligence, and deep personal development certifications.

What makes my work different is my ability to support both the human and the systems underneath what someone is experiencing. Whether someone is navigating personal transition, leadership growth, burnout, operational overwhelm, or building a more aligned business, I blend grounded support with practical strategy to help people move forward in ways that feel sustainable, intentional, and true to who they are becoming.

My background combines real-world entrepreneurial experience, an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a BFA in Graphic Design, web programming education, leadership and operational expertise, and years of advanced personal development and transformational training.

I naturally bridge practical strategy with emotional intelligence, helping people create clarity, alignment, and movement where things once felt overwhelming, stuck, or unsustainable.

Some of the most meaningful parts of this work have come from walking alongside people through seasons of burnout, rebuilding, leadership growth, transition, uncertainty, and becoming. I believe people are far more capable, resilient, and powerful than they often realize when they are truly seen, supported, and understood without judgment.

My approach is collaborative, adaptable, and tailored to the person in front of me. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or rigid formulas. Every person, business, season, and challenge is different.

Over the years, I have supported entrepreneurs, nonprofits, leaders, and individuals across multiple industries and stages of growth — from startups to established organizations navigating operational complexity, leadership transitions, reinvention, burnout, and scaling challenges.

At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: sustainable growth should support the human behind it. Sometimes growth asks us to expand. Sometimes it asks us to rebuild. Sometimes it asks us to let go of what no longer fits so we can step more fully into who we are becoming. Wherever you are in that journey, you do not have to navigate it alone.

Know Me Deeper - Assessments & Frameworks

I believe one of the most important parts of growth, leadership, or support is finding someone you genuinely trust and connect with. Every person communicates differently, processes differently, and needs different kinds of support. Because of that, I believe alignment between the people doing the work together matters deeply.

The Business Builder

From a first design award at 19 to founding TriLeaf Designs in 2009, earning an Executive MBA in 2020, and launching Rachel Boone Consulting — every chapter deepened my ability to help others build and lead.

The Personal Rebuilder

My journey hasn't been linear. A divorce, years of rebuilding, deep personal development work, and over $500K invested in growth shaped how I understand what it actually takes to start over.

Today's Work

In 2023, TriLeaf evolved into Mindful Marketing — helping people build businesses and lives that feel more aligned, sustainable, and true to who they are becoming.

My passion for entrepreneurship ignited early when in 1999 I won my first design award and began securing freelance work and professional design positions. By the age of 24, I had already accumulated nearly a decade of hands-on experience alongside earning a BFA in Graphic Design and a Certificate in Web Programming from UMSL (University of Missouri–St. Louis).

In 2009, I founded TriLeaf Designs as a creative and marketing company focused on graphic design, web development, branding, and marketing strategy. What shaped me differently from many others in the industry was my hands-on experience not only in design, but also inside print shops, mailing houses, packaging warehouses, product design studios, and production environments. That experience gave me a much deeper understanding of how businesses truly function behind the scenes — not just creatively, but operationally as well. That same year, I was honored to receive the St. Louis Socially Responsible Business Award through Junior Chamber International.

As the business grew, so did my role within it. Over time, I naturally moved beyond marketing into leadership, operations, strategy, problem solving, and helping businesses untangle the deeper challenges underneath what often appeared to be surface-level problems. In 2016, after several companies approached me specifically looking for someone with my unique blend of skills, Rachel Boone Consulting was born.

In 2020, I earned my Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, further strengthening the bridge between practical entrepreneurial experience and executive-level business strategy. Even with exposure to high-level corporate leadership environments, I knew my passion remained with entrepreneurs, small businesses, nonprofits, and leaders where the work could stay personal, meaningful, and transformational.

Alongside my business journey, I pushed myself deeply into personal and professional development from a very early age — investing over $500,000 into trainings, education, leadership development, mindset work, emotional awareness, communication, human behavior, and transformational growth. I became deeply fascinated by the connection between emotional capacity, leadership, business growth, relationships, identity, and the ways people navigate change, pressure, and reinvention.

Like many people I support today, my own journey has not been linear. During my divorce, I made the difficult decision to place much of my business growth on hold for nearly three years while navigating one of the hardest rebuilding seasons of my life. I know firsthand what it feels like to start over, rebuild identity, untangle uncertainty, and slowly find your footing again while still trying to lead, parent, grow, and function through it all.

In 2022, I began expanding my work into the buying and selling of businesses, helping owners strengthen operations, leadership, brand positioning, and organizational foundations in ways that support long-term sustainability and business value. Along the way, I also experienced the realities of partnership — including entering into a business partnership that ultimately ended after a year. That experience deepened my understanding of alignment, leadership dynamics, communication, and the importance of building businesses that truly fit the people behind them.

In 2023, TriLeaf Designs naturally evolved into Mindful Marketing — a reflection of the work I had already been doing for years. What started as a marketing and design company had grown into something much deeper: a full-picture approach that blends emotional awareness, thoughtful strategy, operational clarity, leadership development, and human-centered growth.

Looking back, every season — the growth, burnout, reinvention, rebuilding, uncertainty, leadership lessons, partnerships, heartbreak, and personal transformation — shaped the way I now support others. Today, my work helps people build businesses, leadership, and lives that feel more aligned, sustainable, intentional, and true to who they are becoming.

My Family

Kids

My loves ❤️. I could write a book sharing everything I want to say.  I was married for fourteen years, together for eighteen, to a compassionate man named Keith. I grew up in our marriage and set the foundation for the person that I am today. During our time together, we birthed four beautiful children. Jacoby (2015) is my oldest and he has my heart. He is kind, entrepreneurial, and caring. Wise beyond his years. Rowan (2017) is my spitting image. She is my social butterfly possessing an unwavering determination and knows how to ask for what she wants.  Danica (2019) is my spirit and most like me. She is a fusion of athleticism and femininity. She lives in a magical world of creativity and imagination. Finley (2021) came out ready to rule the world! My little explorer runs everywhere knowing exactly what she wants. In 2022, I separated from their Dad. It was a classic case of we had drifted to far apart, I had traumas to heal, and he had opening up to do. In 2024 we were divorced. I am discovering more about my own power as I learn what it is to be a single mom.

Myself

my life (web version)

My most precious contributions to the world are the roles I embrace: coach, entrepreneur, mother, wife, daughter, friend, volunteer, and healer. However, my path is far from a leisurely stroll in the park; it demands constant personal growth and evolution. To nurture my development, I have invested over $500,000 in my own personal and professional advancement. In fact, I foresee reaching the milestone of investing one million dollars in myself before I bid farewell. I am incessantly expanding my repertoire of skills and knowledge, using everything I learn about myself and humanity to uplift the individuals and businesses that come into my sphere. One of the most challenging endeavors I undertook was activating my inner light and allowing it to radiate brilliantly. It took time for me to realize that my light can stir up the demons in others, and that's okay. Gradually, I embraced the understanding that I should never diminish my light to spare others from their insecurities. Now, I wholeheartedly let my little (or rather, enormous) light shine.

My Community

cubscouts (1) 2

Cub Scout Den Leader

I love being a Den Leader.  Witnessing the positive impact I have on my son, his friends, their families, and the future of our world is truly fulfilling. Observing the deep bonds forming among my Scouts and hearing stories of their voluntary acts of kindness, like picking up trash during school recess, simply because they want to, warms my soul. When teachers share stories of the Scouts saying, "I'm a Scout; that's just what we do," further validating the values instilled in them. They are pretty awesome little human beings. The icing on the cake is when families complete adventures at home together and they share with me how much fun they had and the connections they created. Being a Scout Mom is undeniably remarkable. As my Scouts prepare to transition to Boy Scouts in 2026, I am excited for the incredible journey that awaits them.

Trail 2

Ozark Trail Adoptor

Sometimes the best days end with the dirtiest clothes. When I relocated to St. Louis I yearned to immerse myself in outdoor activities. That's when I discovered the Ozark Trail Association, and in 2007, I experienced my inaugural outing with them. The leader of the group would often playfully teased me about my knack for being covered in mud, even on the driest days. Those trail weekends became a source of immense joy for me. In due course, I ascended to the role of Crew Leader, guiding teams in the construction of trails. Additionally, I took responsibility for maintaining a 2-mile section of the trail. In 2009, I seized the opportunity to attend Sawyer Training, where I acquired the skills to fell trees deep within the heart of the woods. This knowledge proved invaluable when storms wreaked havoc on the trails. With the arrival of four children in a span of six years, my cherished involvement with the Ozark Trail Association was temporarily put on hold. However, as my little ones transition into Cub Scouts, I eagerly anticipate fulfilling my plans of introducing them to trail building, camping, canoeing, and kayaking. There is an indescribable magic in disconnecting from technology and embracing the absence of cellular service for a while—a chance for the world to slow down and for us to truly connect with nature.

NonProfit 2

Non-Profit Work

"Spunky" is what they call me. This nickname was lovingly bestowed upon me by the esteemed St. Louis Ambassadors during my tenure as the Chairman of Young Ambassadors. Previously, I served as the President of the 1904 World's Fair Charitable Foundation Under 40 Organization. If you venture to Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri, and visit the World's Fair Pavilion, a plaque bearing my name will greet you, a testament to the profound impact and tireless efforts of both organizations on the thriving tapestry of St. Louis and its beloved Forest Park. Furthermore, I had the privilege of being the youngest member in the history of the Advisory Board for the US Small Business Institute.

Personal Developent Program Volunteer

The highest calling imaginable is to be a part of building a better world. When I devote myself to volunteer work within the realm of personal development, I not only embark on a journey of expanding my own growth, but I also have the privilege of stepping into the extraordinary universe of another individual, guiding them toward their own expansion. It is in the moments when our attitudes radiate love, when forgiveness flows, and when we mend the wounds of our past to embrace the present, that true miracles unfold. As each person illuminates their own life, the world itself becomes more radiant. Throughout the years, I have dedicated countless hours to various mentoring programs and personal development courses, pouring my time and energy into the invaluable pursuit of transforming the world.

Class Mom - Classes of 2033, 2035, 2037, and 2039

I feared the judgment and unkindness of cliquish "School Moms". I vividly recall my  mother experience when we were young. However, my expectations shifted when I participated in a transformative course the year before my son started kindergarten. The program encouraged us to conceive and execute a community project, offering it as a gift to the world. While remarkable non-profits like Habitat for Humanity and the Susan B. Coleman Cancer Foundation emerged from this initiative, my choice took a different path. I decided to create a parent group, aptly named Guardians of 2033, symbolizing the year our children would graduate high school. The online community that blossomed was nothing short of extraordinary, fostering unwavering support amongst its members in myriad ways. It is within this community that I discovered some of my dearest friends, their bonds formed through shared experiences and shared aspirations. Inspired by this profound connection, I subsequently established similar parent groups for each of my children's classes.
